First off, everyone is a bit misguided in this thread. Everyone modifies their suspension in an attempt to 'increase' the car's performance. They do this with no metric to gauge the increase at all. Upgrading the same car with the same suspension piece can have drastically different effects for different drivers. The only guaranteed bang for your buck upgrade to your suspension (in terms of overall performance) are your tires. Before you begin to upgrade your suspension you really need to take the car on a track and see what it is specifically you're trying to correct. Does the car oversteer too much, understeer too much? These are the types of questions you can address with suspension upgrades. However, in terms of sheer bolt-on performance upgrades, the only thing you can do for your suspension is upgrade your tires.
